Can the Recoil be repositioned?

Hello. I have one of the HF 6.5 Clones that I just installed on my kart, but the recoil is positioned to pull the oposite direction(toward the seat). Is it possible, safe, easy, to change the position of the recoil pull to pull toward the back of the kart? The engine that I replaced on this kart could do it and it was fairly simply. I am just not in a hurry to mess up a new engine by assuming it is just as simple on this one. According to the blow-up in the manual it appears to be spring loaded, but I don't know if the spring will pop when I take it off. Any help is always greatly appreciated.

You can rotate the handle's location by removing the 3 bolts holding on that cover and then spinning it so try that and see if any of those positions work.

Redsox is right. You dont need to worry about the spring because it is enclosed in the recoil unit, and is unable to easily come out.
