Can someone make a Video from start to finish?

Can somebody make an instructional video for how to make a simple gokart from scratch. Like them building it personally and taking us through every step ?

There's some stuff on YouTube, but it really is hard to cover everything. Especially when we're talking DIY. Building a kart out of standard kart parts would be a much simpler undertaking.

why dont you find a kart and fix it up. probably a better first step

it may be easyer to buy stuff like spindles

it is diy gokarts becuase it is do it your self
moist people learn as they go, following plans or just going off the top of their head
look at T mans vidios on u tube he built a trike

Have a look at some of Tmans vids on youtube. The series he did on a reverse trike was really good. That was basically a full build, but there were lots of vids in the series. I think there is a thread here somewhere.

Sure, its possible! But whatever you build will have to be quite small and lightweight. Don't expect too much out of that little engine.

im not gonna use the engine. i have an 8hp tecumseh engine off my snowblower!

I see. Then prepare for the following problem. The ATV's axle sprocket may be an odd metric pitch. If it is, you may have a difficult time fitting a "common" pitch sprocket to the axle. If you are capable of some fab work, you may be okay.

ok but just to clarify. I can use the atv's Wheels, Steering setup, and maybe electrical setup ?

You can re-use the running gear, but the electrical probably will not do you any good. Does the snowblower engine have 12 volt electric start?

yes it does, and just a quick question, What speeds am i looking for from a 8hp tecuhmseh engine? Im making a small lightweight kart. How many KM/h am i looking at?

Likely in the 30 range, depending on several factors. Km/h, huh? What part of the planet are you in?

yeh when i was little with my grandfather. Im completley new to the motorized catagory. I really want to learn and understand tho. And nice to know im talking to another ontarian. were abouts you in ontario ?
