What we have here is a big old ford tractor(mostly model T parts) outfitted with a bigass screw drive system. Pretty slick, probably doable in the modern age with a couple of auger bits and clone engines.

they were talking about replacing ship's screws with those. in a shroud like a jet ski, it should haul. auger bits wouldn't give you floatation though. handling at speed would be a nightmare on account of the 'wheels' being so long. dozers and such suck at speed for the same reason. every little bump feels like a hill.

that could be easily done... if you have acess to metal rolls (for the drums) and a "comac" style flat bar bender (for the actual "screw")... then hook up a clone (or wathever bigass bike engine lol) to each of the rolls and control steering with throttles...

nice contraption, but you would think more power from her being 'blown'. 650hp, hah. you can build a 350 to 900 for probably the same price as that blower cost.

that 427 wasnt built as high as it could go they just threw the supercharger on there for cheeper power.. all tho they do cost hella lot... but i wonder what the torx number would be? probaly higher then the hp.. cause look how that thing launches.. i dont think a 350 could get as high of tourqe as a big block.. plus big blocks got the tendancy to blow less then small blocks do.

from what i remember there is a 350 small and a 350 big block. if he isn't running a tranny, he will save all that power.

they are calling it a 348, but engine companies up-play and down play the actual sizes of motors. this same site claims that ford's smallest big-block was a 332. i've heard that ford sold chevy the 350 patents and molds. that was dumb, imho.

I will give it to those guys, that's some bad @$$ S#!%, but in deep snow it will probably get stuck. That's why I liked the screw drive, it doesn't matter how deep the snow is.

if they are solid, meaning they weigh a lot it might. i wonder how she does on water? if they are hollow and semi rigid, it would work loads better
