I found this shifter kart in a storage action that i won..
All that i know is that it has a 80cc Honda motor/ 6 speed and is crazy fast.. what i really like is the PADDLE SHIFTERS.. sticker on the kart frame says trackmagic but seat says emmick..

can anybody please tell me what what kind of frame it is and/or what year..?
or maybe how much its worth in its condition?
is the paddle shifters custom? normal? better?
its started right up, motor sounds healthy and drives even better, went through every gear fine.. and is crazy fast..

Just hoping i will be able to get more then the couple hundred bucks i spent at the action..
Here is a few pics.. Thanks in advance.

Holy crap... Storage Wars comes to DIYGK!!! :D

Welcome to the forum! I'm afraid I don't know anything about your kart- but did you score it for a good price?

Spent $430 on the first storage and found nothing but old cloths and trash..

Spent $550 on my 2nd storage bid that same day and found this thing in it.. definitely had the best find of the day! and it was only my 2nd or 3rd time going to bid..

I use to ride dirt bikes and really love anything with a motor on it so i was so excited...

I rode it for my second time today and now totally thinking of keeping her.. i may have just picked up a new hobby!!!
its crazy fast!.. feels as fast as my street bike!

Already looking into throwing a 125 or 250 on it.. Will see ;)

I already posted on your other thread, but I'd suggest holding off on installing any larger engine, at least for now. Yeah It'll be faster, but you'll soon realize it'll be so dam fast you'll trully need front brakes to keep from killing your self.

I'm not kidding, CR80 shifters usually stop alright w/o front brakes, but you wont usually see any 125's (or larger) shifters on any real racekart track with rear-brakes only. The reason is they're rules required them to have 4-wheel brakes, cause they're so dam fast and they're worried about every-one's safety! (even for the corner-workers and audience members in the stands...)

You could always add front brakes, but unless you find/use/mod motorcycle calipers/rotors to fit, you'll also discover its very-very exspencive to buy all the front brake components you'd need to fit/bolt right-on your kart.

Your kart would also have more resale value as-is with its current 80cc engine, unless you also installed a very high quality front brake system. I realise your not currently planning on racing at a track, but you might just change your mind about that after awhile... You'll see
