I made mine more like a chopper front and the wheel base in back is about 24" wide and the overall length is 54" and probably going to weigh about 80-100 lbs when all finished...Thanks for the heads up on the turning and I will make sure I pay attention on the first couple of turns and then push the envolope a little... LOL...

Wow!! That is one cool cooler!! You did a brilliant job on the bodywork. How is that front tyre/wheel holding up? Is it off a bicycle? What type of brakes have you got? I hope not those horrible bicycle V brakes!!

I used to be in the home medical business. I have used powerwheelchair motors and controllers for alot of things. Including the coolest powerwheels ever lol. You can find them used cheap. I have motors and controls to a pride blast extreme. They would take a 400 lbs person and a 350 lbs chair. It would ride a wheelie for a good 20 feet and top speed of 12 mph. Geared up a touch they would be scary fun.

The front tire assembly is off of a 20" boys bike and it is holding up fine Landuce... I am a cabinet maker by trade so the wood body came easy to me to put together... Believe it or not, all I have for the braking system is what came with the 20" bike and it stops fine... I even travel down hill and I can stop it relatively easy... Thanks for the compliments, I am going to try my hand at another simpler one very soon...
