Can I Safely Change the pull cord pull direction on HF 6.5?

Hi,

My HF 6.5hp engine pull cord is set to pull forward by default, which has me pulling it towards the front of the go-kart. Can I change it to pull towards the back?

Yeah, with most of those engines you simply remove the pull-start cover bolts, turn the cover to your desired position and reinstall the bolts (although, I'd at least try to set it up so it pulled upwards)
