I men I have been absent for a few years, but why close a thread? I just went to post some updates and all my threads are closed?

WTF?

They close automatically after 6 months of no updAtes.
Pm a moderator and They will unlock

I am a mod. Let me know which threads you want opened and it will be done immediately. You then have a day to post something before it automatically closes again. It will stay open once you have posted in it

The reason why threads get closed is because people join the forum and then dig up old threads and start posting in them, thinking they are new threads. We do not like threads that are 2 years old being resurrected by someone saying "Good job!". It was a decision taken a very long time ago, with buy in from all members. You are the first one to complain in all the years this feature has been in effect
