Can anyone tell me what this use to possibly be?

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and pretty new to the scene. I was fortunate enough to pick up this little kart for a grand total of one beer. Can anyone out there identify what it may be or does it look like a home build? There is a small adjustable mechanical shock in the center near the bottom of the seat. Wondering if it may be worth restoring or if I should just have my way with it. Looking to use it for early/late season ice fishing and some light trail cruising. Any info and input would be much appreciated.

That's what I was thinking but the only thing that made me question it is there is remnants of some sort of matching stickers on each side.

It used to be, and still is ...UGLY.

I would pillage it for the wheels (aluminum Tri-Stars that need a little love?), engine, linkages, steering shaft and "wheel" and not much else.

What kind of beer did you have to pay for it?

It's not "home made" I've seen a similar design. Modified maybe, home made, no.

The ty rod i believe was 4 stroke on left and the tyrod 2 had the 2 stroke on the right hand side.

that looks like one i have, a baja motorsports dn165
on mine the trailing arms broke where they connect to the axle, the side under the engine broke first, fixed that side by boxing it, thought the other side would be okay but it broke too a few months later.

now that both sides are boxed it has been holding up to whatever the grand kids can do to it
