Someone I know saw me working on my kart and said that they had the same kart minus some modifications. I had always assumed my kart had originally been a well done home project. Can anyone tell me what my frankenkart was originally? As far as I can tell the roll cage does not look to be stock. I installed the current engine, so this is not stock as well. The previous owner had a briggs and stratton 60102 2.5 hp engine on the machine. Unsure if it was stock. I am interested in case I ever need parts down the road.

It's def a go kart. That's for sure.
I tried to research. It looks like a yerf dog, but turns out nothing from yerf looks like that.

I haven't found any codes, although it has something like 3 coats of paint on it, so they may well be underneath. There a common area that the codes are stamped. I am not sure where to look. I purchased the cart from a man off of craigslist. I didn't ask about the origins of the cart. I suppose I should have.

I believe it was orange or possibly a red faded to an orange. I no longer have a way of contacting the seller. I will have to look more thoroughly for some numbers on the kart. Thanks for the snappy response.
