cable "stop" for 6.5 clone engine

Hey guys we have several of the 6.5 Lifan electric start engines we are upgrading our unit with. I am looking for a good cable stop to attach throttle cable to linkage. I have looked at the Predator engine and see that they come with the stops already mounted to throttle plate. Do they sale the same style stops and how do they attach to bottom of plate/ thanks guys.

Yes most standard throttle arm plates have a swivel stop that is attached to the plate... Honda and others are the same...
If anything, bicycle shops should have throttle stop, or cable stop in stock..

Wait, what exactly are you asking? your post is a little vague...

Are you asking:
1. is there a mechanism built into the throttle plate which limits throttle movement or
2. is there something I can add to the throttle plate assembly to attach the cable to the throttle assembly?

This. I know predator has them mounted on the throttle assembly already. how do they attach ? I have just simple cable stops now but don't really
care for how the just hang in hole.

Just weld an adjustable pedal stop behind the gas pedal. Bracket, bolt and 2 nuts.
Its now Adjustable for carb or engine swaps.
Almost guaranteed to stop at full throttle if adjusted right.

Very simple and easy to set.

This picture is from a predator engine. I have a 6.5 lifan engine and would like to install the stop that is circled green. are they available and how do they attach to the throttle assembly ? Thanks guys.

Get a pred or any other clone throttle plate... theyre pretty much universal.....
Go to a lawn mower shop or rental place... they should have extras they might sell to you... with the swivels stops installed...

I am located in Louisiana we are upgrading our shrine trucks to the lifan engine so I will be needing 6-8 plates.

The lifan/ Blue Greyhound clones did not have the setup like the new predators do, in his pic.

I dunno if you could adapt a predator stock plate to that engine without negatively affecting the operation of the stock Governor.

I used a set up like you had in the thread you linked to when I had the Greyhound.
