Well, if it has a gear reduction box, you can just slap a cent. clutch or TC on it. But you could use either a jackshaft to bring the rpm's back to normal, or just run a belt tensioner clutch.

Also, theres 8 days left to that auction, so dont expect it to stay at 99c.

The clutch wont fully engage, the reduction box will bring the normal redline of 3600 rpm down to 1800, most clutches start to engage at 1800-2200.

in my opinion, a belt tensioner style clutch would be much better, no fussing with lighter springs (which would be hard to find for your average cheap clutch), and a belt tensioner clutch would grab much better than cent.

why u buying the one with the reduction box? That ones ****, get the other clone without it. Its cheaper and sold by the same ebay company.

the reduction unit should come right off and you should be left with a 20mm shaft, at least that's the way it is with my gx160 mine has a built in wet clutch though so no need to remove.

Yours has the wet clutch and reduction box, most ones with just a reduction box have bad crankshafts. Normally the end of the crank is actually the gear.

Yeah you're probably right, I didn't notice how slim that reduction unit was if it did have a 20mm crankshaft it'd probably be pretty stubby. The engine is still worth watching though sometimes those oddball setups can go cheap, then it would just take a little ingenuity to get it to work.

Like i said before, a belt tensioner clutch would work fine. I was gonna do that with an 8hp that i had with a reduction box.
