From what I see, you would need a steering wheel($10), Steering shaft($10), Tie rods($15), Front wheels($50), Seat-Junkyard Car Seat-($20), Throttle Setup and Pedal($10), Braking Setup($15), Bars across the front to protect the steering components($10). So about $150- give or take. I say its worth it. It's something I would buy. If the motor runs then thats a good deal.

Those are dirt cheap prices klicky

Much more
U can't use kart parts u need car parts
A whole car rack tie rods plus shaft and wheel 100 ( wreakers)
Brake system calipers hoses and master cylinder 150
U must ask about wiring
But u need some gauges plus some other odd electrics ( price unknown)
Some Odd steel to make a roll cage, more frame work and brackets 200
Front tyres $80
Cables $10
Pedals $30
U must ask about drive train but I'd say it is incomplete
U can't really add up the cost without knowing the condition of the buggy first

I'd say u have close to $500 in frame tyres suspension
And the engine would be $800 it's self

I'd get it even to separate it out
U should get 250 for the rolling chassis

Although make no mistake this is no weekend project

You gotta check the size, its not a full buggy. Its a mini. You can use a push-pull steering setup. Its the cheaper way to go but yes, you can use it. He wants to finish it and he probably doesn't wanna spend much. I gave cheap estimates. He can use regular kart parts to go cheaper. If you look, it looks like it already has a hydraulic braking system. By the looks of it, all he needs is the main booster.

U most certainly can not use a push pull suspension

It is a 750cc it will weight in excess of 200kg and exceed 100kph

I can fix my car by jb welding the tie rod but I don't because I like life
u can't cheap out on some things steering and brakes are not one of those things
Kart tyres won't handle the speed or weight or the sideways load

It may already have calipers I didn't take a detailed look

I wasn't talking about a push-pull suspension. I was talking bout a push-pull steering setup. the suspension is already setup. In some circumstances on this project, you should use car parts. But on others, you can use basic kart parts.

I too am talking of steering but I'm on my phone and it decided otherwise

I hate autocorrect too haha. But there are different ways to build this. If he wasn't going too extreme ten he could use kart parts. If he wants to give it he|| then it would require car parts. Im not trying to argue with anyone on here at all. Sorry if I came out like that.
