I've never heard of this either. You've got my interest though. Looks pretty cool. Could you post more pics? Side view, pic of steering yolk, engine, and suspension. It could be a modified fl250. If you post these pics I can probably help ID it if it is an Odyssey. Are there any stickers on it that might show a company or brand? For example Klemm Research, briggsbuilt, EEE, Mickey Thompson? It could be an old racer that was modified long ago. Very interesting. Please share more. Looking again that looks like a headlight on top. That's a definately FL250 sign. Can tell more with more pics.

Ahh. This is why we like pics on this forum, because unless I'm totally out to lunch, that's not an Odyssey. In fact, I don't think there's a single Ody part on there.

It is pretty cool whatever it is. Perhaps another member can ID it for you, or maybe it's homebrew. That's not really my department.

The engine is a single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke industrial. It is probably in the 10hp range.

actually i have two of them and the other one had dual rear tires on the rear axle. the rear axle is a peerless. there from the 80's and both were bought new for around $4800 for both.there was plastic fenders covering the tires but the mounting points cracked and broke. since the motor is so hard to find parts for im just putting the 6.5hp engine in the pic for my son so he has something to ride and some great father son time on fixing it.

I'm sorry that I have no information for you. But I will say that they are very cool, you've got some great projects ahead of you!

EDIT- regarding the rear axle- Peerless? Wow. Does it have a differential? I can't tell by the pics. AFAIK, the only Peerless rear axle is the model 100 differential, but my data may be old. A differential is good for road manners, and lousy for traction.
