Alright, so the problem for me is that my tires usually go bald all the way to threads in about a week. I do have live axle, and i do drift my kart. I was wondering if there were any good tires that are somewhat cheap and longlasting that i could find.

i run 4" rims, 10" tires. if there were any tires that were bigger and still fit a 4" rim, i'd be glad to get some of those too

Most all those kart tires for 4" rims are probably very low quality and a very soft rubber compound.

If you could mount some 5" diameter/ 4" or 5"-wide rims on the rear your kart, you could buy some extra-hard rubber compound 10X4.50-5" racekart slicks. These would be very high quality, last much-much longer and would actually drift on dirt much better than treaded tires anyway.

You could find some tires like this here:

If you've got a race kart shop in your town they'd probably give you their old tires for free and just charge a couple bucks to mount-em.

Some kart racers buy a new set every week and just throw out the old ones or sell-em cheap.

We sell a heavy duty concession kart slick that is very hard rubber compund and lasts a long time.

The trouble is they don't make it to fit a 4 inch wheel. The smallest wheel it fits is a 5 inch wheel. And they are expensive!

But if you are going through tires that fast, it might be worth changing over to a 5 or 6 inch wheel and running that type of tire.

The main question is what tires are you running now? If you are running something like the Harbor Freight tires that are designed for hand trucks and walking speed, they just won't last long at all. But if you are running an actual go kart tire and burning them up that fast, you need to go with a concession cart tire.
