Ok, so Im not to that point yet, but hopefully you guy can keep me on track when i do get there. :devil2:

Anyway, Hi! Im Jeremy. Usually I can be found building mopars (currently 69 440 cuda, 71 340 scamp (and a couple of dusters that I havent decided what drivetrain yet) Moved out out of the city and now theres plenty of room to play... ummm come to find out, a 71 duster isnt as fun in the dirt as youd think... sooo after some thought and looking at spare parts for too long Ive hatched an evil scheme to build an spare-part-dirt-kart-creature.

so far what i have to work with...

5 hp b&g roto-tiller
tilt garden trailer (to pull behind mower) thinking of putting a bed on it like a mini t-bucket lol
tons scrap metal
a couple RWD parts cars
ummm... a wild imagination

Im not sure of the exact goals yet, but Im ready to get started and i do know 5 hp isnt going to do it in the long run, but I plan to build it so the motor can be upgraded after the kinks are worked out of the design...

Alright enough of the noob-babbling for now, thanks for letting me in.

Jeremy

Cool man, throw up plenty of pictures and I'm sure people will give insane suggestions about the project as it unfolds. Welcome to the forums.

Calm down Cuda!

Welcome to the forums!

I look forward to seeing some of your projects. I would really enjoy seeing some mopar action on a kart!

Best,
Antonio

Seeing as nobody has beat me yet I might be able to put a deposit down on the Charger this fall... I cant wait to see a ricer cringe with fear next to the sound of a 440 six pack... (not trying to steal your thread cuda, just trying to make you feel welcome)

Good to see theres lots of mopar fans around here. :cheers2:

Well there will be plenty of pics, but the only thing i have to take pics of right now is a pile of metal stock and a rototiller. lol

Already on plan 13... the current situation is to build a little 5 hp cart or a "The great escape" styled bike. (I have a vintage DIY article on building one I could probably post, its pretty interesting) and then a longer term project styled after the Fox Helix 150 (not a clone, i just need design help for the suspension lol)

Monkey, a 6.1 in a daytona... whew! Ive seen plenty of the LA engine swap/RWD conversions but that sounds fun.

And Blaz... EVERY time I leave the driveway they flock around me at stoplights... I dont think these kids have a clue about reality...mines a 440 powered abody after the diet shes down to around 3250, and with +7.2 liters... dont they get that 2 liters is LESS than 7.2 liters and in the same weight car? Dont get me wrong, I'll give a WRX-STI some credit, but I get harassed by Civics and Saturns... how embarassing. OK rant mode off...lol

Oh, and stay tuned for pics, Im hoping have the passenger pod welded up tonight or tomorrow...
