Building up a 3hp briggs

you will have to make a cam just weld it up and grind it smooth. you will make at least 4hp with the cam with the other mods id say you may would be making 5.5 or 6hp i see why people build 5hp briggs but for the power to weight ratio i think it will be worth it

My welding skills are lacking severely as well as decent shop space in winter, iv put money away for a cam, so having one welded up for me is my only option right now.

:wai: Contact Dyno/Comp Cams and see what they recomend for lift and duration of course you will have to give them all the info on whats going to be done/

has already been done to the engine. If they do not have anything in stock for a 3hp, maybe they can regrind yours.

I've tried all the usual places and checked the custom places, about the only thing carried is the 3hp billet flywheel, and coil bracket. I'm sending my cam Monday to Dymocams.

Not any interest here for this project but here is the motor pretty much just needs to be put together. Dyno cams custom 3 hp cam 94ss weld and grind, 5 hp flo - jet, port polish, 5 hp lifters, 5 hp springs, cut head, wiseco piston, spring pockets, chamferd bores, billet flywheel,
