Hi all.

Basically I'm putting together a small kart for my kids, I have an old 180w motor i will use to start things off and 2 x 12v 17ah bike batteries.

I will be getting another battery to run at 36 v but have no idea how to controll it.

I spoke to a guy at a shop and he said I can't just use any controller cause it won't activate the motor if the controller is rated above the motor watts?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Ok I bit the dust and got a basic 300w 36v controller. At least it's a start.

That will do for now, cheers all

Thanks all

yeah dude

I got it on a 36v direct on/off at the moment. The controller came this morning but im having trouble sorting the front wheels.

I got 17mm stub axles but 1" plastic wheels. I bought some 25mmx17mm bearings but cant get em to set no matter what.

Its pretty good actually, ill try and get a pic up of it
