Building new cart

looking to make it a hobby need help. for instance where to get parts cheap. engines cheap also will have numerous questions when i get my project started. looking to become very involved in this forum.

the engine i have now is a tecumseh 6.5hp just wanting to make it extremely fast without changing the engine

Well, for starters, I'd read this forum, scanning each post briefly and reading the ones that interest you.

I've been around engines, mechanics and fabrication for 40-odd years and I learn something new every time I come here.

I'll second the BMI recommendation.

I just ordered $400 worth of parts from them and they are the cheapest with the fastest shipping. They will be my "go to" store for all my kart needs for now on.
