Building A Kart With A Motorbike Engine

Hi everyone,

THis is my first post, I recently acquired access to a 2 stroke motorbike with a seized engine (1993 Honda NSR 250SE) the engine on this bike made 65HP at the wheels. My friends and I are planning to make a go kart, we have access to the require tools (metal press, welders, grinders eetc etc) I was looking at the plans and they were quite different to finsihed product of the karts at the karting place.

Could someone please enlighten me or direct me to an area where I could research different go kart plans?

I plan to document the whole build process and upload it on here to share.

SO far I have:

Engine, computer, dash, brakes, steel, seat, steering wheel.

looking at to run with all the running gear i.e brakes, the NSR clutch, transmission (6 speed sequential) instuments.

the NSR engine is TINY so fitment I do not think woudl be a problem.

The plans here are "segustions" You can build your cart to your desire, may i sugesst building a big 2 seater because of engine size if budjet allows.
