i just got a vapor stealth digital speedo. same thing, just grey with no big "VAPOR" logo.

let me know what you think of it, and if you had any problems installing/configuring it.

the buggy is looking sweet! i did notice that the top of the roll cage still looks tack-welded though... hate to see the buggy split open like an alien egg sac, and you come flying out. lol.

When I got home I got a full time job as a metal fabricator so now I have been fixing all my shortcuts on the buggy and trying to get everything as perfect as i can. Hopefully I can mount the engine within the next month.

well I was really lucky that my girlfriends father owns the company and he was nice enough to give me a job. He knew that I have no training in the trade but let me in anyway and the metalshop manager is surprisingly impressed with my work. They are teaching me a few tricks and tips but sofar I have been able to do what everybody else does. I will get some pics as soon as i can but this week I am working overtime including saturday so that means probably no work done to the buggy :( it kinda bums me out but job first buggy second.

Okay so its been a while but I got a little progress today. I have been toying around with the lathe at work and have been learning how to use it correctly so I used it to drill some 5/8ths holes on both ends on one of my extra axles. This was done so I can correctly line up my controlarms so I do not have to worry about unwanted chain slack.

I also cut off my seat mounts for the 5th time because they still were not right so i just got rid of the angle and just used some 1/4 inch flat bar and 10 minutes later they were tacked in and finally square.

Hopefully I will soon have more updates. I am so excited to get this thing done!!

Is that a lathe made by ToolMex/ Poreba? Is is like a4" hollow spindle and 3 jaw back chuck? Thats what i use to drill the barrel in the black powder cannons i make. OD work done on CNC...
VERY BAD @§$ buggy! I really like the rear set up. Nice work, ..... gets copied/borrowed. With that being said, you'll see that set up again.... wink wink

Hey everybody its been a long time since an update. I was lucky enough to have the whole weekend to go work on the buggy so this is what I got done. My protodie sprocket extension came in the mail so I could finally mount the engine. It was a bit of a pain because I had to center the shaft with a bearing.

Now that I got the shaft centered it was time to mount the engine cradle to the frame. Not much but it all took alot of work. I am also going to redo my trailing arms as I feel that they will fail after some abuse.

Dont worry everybody this project has not fallen of the dace of the earth, I just never had time to stop and take pictures of everything. So basically I am just about ready to strip it all down for final welding. There is still alot of work to be done but I am just to eager to ride this **** thing. Hope you guys like it.
