Have you by-passed the low oil shut-off?
...it can be quite "pesky" when left functional, on a kart

When I put a Predator on a kart, a long time ago (notice the blue)
...it would start & die, start & die :ack2:
...until I by-passed it (connected (2) yellow wires together IIRC)

It (was) located on the lower front side of the engine :cheers2:

If it's new.. for the most part... it's not the engine...it something else...

Or take it back and exchange it..

Well, I'm just going to give up on this engine cause it won't start, the original spark plug was bad, put a new spark plug in it STILL does not run. I'm probably going to order a new one and If that one does not work, I'm using a flathead 5 hp Briggs

This thing is horrible, I did everything I could, right oil, replaced spark plug and Nothing. NOT making the same mistake again, I'm just getting a briggs

There's nothing wrong with your engine. It's user error.

If there is something wrong with it then you should return it to Harbor Freight for the warranty or contact Predator.

Ok, so when I drained the gas from the float bowls, I found THERE WAS NO FUEL so either the fuel hose was clogged or It was just a bad carb. A new carb is 10 bucks and shipping is 7 bucks so I'm just going to buy a new one and see if that works

Then you obviously did NOT take my advice (even though you "thanked" me?) when I told you days ago to put a tablespoon a fresh fuel down the intake or you would've found that the motor itself runs.... wait, you're going to get a new carb to replace a new carb when a fuel line could've been the issue? Why wouldn't you feed fuel into to the inlet and see if the bowl fills up? If it doesnt then you find out why it doesnt, if you want to have a bunch of downtime while waiting for parts instead of learning to fix stuff then why are you here asking for advice!? Smarten up man you're wasting our time! Brian, out! *I'm done with this bs*

Are you SURE you had the fuel valve turned on?

Granted, there HAVE been dud engines and carbs from predator. Chinese quality control isn't known for being terribly thorough. But still. As many of these engines as people buy with 100% success, the odds of getting a bad one are incredibly slim.
