hey guys a buddy and i are shoe horning in a 6.5 intek Briggs (121432-0024-e1) we had laying round on dead pressure washer. Our "6.5hp" robin engine is CLAPPED OUT from sucking to much dusty air.

anyways the briggs was setup for with a hold in place type throttle and we were wondering how briggs did a cable setup before got to crazy with rigging it.

we added a few springs to return the lever, but haven't modded anything for a cable.

That little piece of metal sticking out where on the pressure washer you would "set" the throttle.
If you loosen the nut and put a return spring. You can just hook up a throttle to it.
But it is a weak piece of metal that bends. I copied and remade the whole piece out of thicker Steel.
EDIT On Mine the Governor is completely removed.

Almost looks like you have a cable clamp right there in front of the arm. and already a hole in the arm. It will work to stick a throttle cable on the stock arm. But mine just got real bendy. I Probably had too heavy of a return spring, and Right Foot.
