Alright so i just picked up a kart and it came with a GX200 6.5hp engine on it, it has a large crack running across the block and the pull start only moves a couple inches for some reason. If its worth anything I'm gonna try and sell it and just want a guide price so i don't get ripped off. If not ill probably just keep it for spare parts. Thanks!

Tear it apart and see if it threw a rod.

Didn't think pics were necessary since the only damage visible from the outside was the crack. But here's a picture of that

Looks like the cover was tightened too much... caused a fault to appear when turned on....

You must be new here. Pics are always necessary. We're like 99% men here and fun fact--we're visually oriented. :smartass:

I'd definitely file that engine under toast.

Thank you for that astute observation Joe. I love how nothing gets by your keen eyes.

Thanks everyone for the help, ended up ordering a 208cc clone for $150 Canadian with free shipping (whoop whoop) So i guess ill just keep this one handy for parts and what not. From what i understand from the previous owner, the kart was sitting for a long time and when i got it there was no air filter on it, so who knows what got in there.
