Broken comet 30

I just bought a genuine made in usa comet 30 series driver and driven from bmi karts and it broke! after an hour and a half of riding the driven flat sheave welds broke loose from the bushing and made the spring go haywire. my question- what is the warranty policy for comet because this must have been a factory defect. i know i installed it correctly as i have repaired quite a few of these. Can i get them to send me a new one or get my money back?:toetap05:

I agree. That sounds like a manufacturers defect
