Briggs Governor help

I have a dingo 285 and forgot where the spring goes to the governor arm on engine . If anyone's familiar with this it would be great I should of took a better note before taking apart

I can't figure out if I have the spring in right spot for this to work correctly

If you tell us which briggs engine you have we can be a lot more help...

For example, I have a briggs, but idk if it's even the same hp as yours lol.

Look on the should to get the model #, type #, and code #, Google up parts breakdown with those #'s and you should be able to find a free breakdown that will show you the correct assembly.
