Briggs 5hp carb

I have a Briggs 5hp that has been underwater for a few months. The carb is rusted beyond use and so is the inside of the gas tank. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they know of a float-style carb that has the same bolt pattern and that lets me use an external fuel tank. would one from a tecumseh work?

An adapter must be made/used. A direct swap is not possible.

Yea, you can run a tec carb on a briggs. You need a tec intake and " wobble" the holes to fit.
