Hey,

Welcome to the forum.

Please consider that maybe more people woreply if the post was a little more appealing. It looks like youve got a neat project would you mind telling us more about it? Build pics, how it was made, engine, etc.

Thanks

Hey guys im new and in need of pointers, ansewrs and critisism..
my build is a little bigger than a kart but its really all the same ,right? Ive basicly got a trike/snowmobile/golf cart/dune buggy.
i guess my first question for today, off the top of my head is ,chain length. whats the ups and downs on shorter or longer. keeping in mind im running off the snowmobile engine and jack shaft....

frame ..custom
engine 440 ski doo rotary f/a
front suspention..golf cart
rear...trike tires
front....four bolt trailer tires

this is my first build and ive done it pretty much free,
im a welder so i fab mostly everything.
my build is near complete...{for first start, drive).if things go well....lol ya right!

any way id love to get into a conversation with someone that can fuel the fire and help me out with some knowedge...

ill get a pic up soon, she looks very frankinstien right meow.

thanks

ive also noticed guys that use snowmobile engines not using the jackshaft and going with the axel direct through the chain case.....any reasons for this? am i doing a bad thing?

the stock muffler would be best

u can make your chain any length u want
i wouldnt go striaght thought the chain case unless i had indipendant suspension (hence the case is protected)

otherwize u may hit a rock and distroy it
a sprocket is alot cheaper to replace

No prob guys, i know im impatiant. New day new questions. To anyone who knows about old rotex engines. For the simplest most generic wiring whats my bare minimum to get it to run....no lights,no key ignition,no gauges.

what ive got is ,the grounds x2. An on/off switch, and a kill switch.
Am i right?...even close...? or in the weeds.

Do i have to have the break away switch???? cause im seat belted in.....

how about any tips on aligning my drive pully on a 77 tnt 440 f/a?.

thanx for input.
