Brake rod install

Does the brake rod connect onto any part of the frame in the enclosed pics? I think this kart is a 415. From go karts r us the diagrams shows rod connecting to frame but I don't see where it would on this kart.

It will connect to the frame only at the pedal. It will indirectly connect to the frame through the fact that it is connected to the brake band at the engine end of the kart. It will most likely rest upon some section of the frame or pass through an opening (many Manco karts have these welded for guides near the seat).
