I have the band/drum style brake on my kart....it sqeeks something fierce when i hit the brakes. Is this just nature of the beast?
Today I found out what happens if I set the cable too tight.......in the middle of an emergency braking manuver- the cable snaps
Now that I have changed my shorts...I will change the cable
