Brake debate

Anyone have a suggestion for which brake setup to go with for my sons yard kart?? I have no experience with either

Hmm, i have the drum brake. It works pretty good, cant lock up the tires, mabe its just me though. I would probably go with the disc.

Brake debate? Drum brakers are the tea partiers and disc brakers are the ... anyone else.

Disc brakes for me are the only way to go.

I would say get hydraulics haha but it's a yard kart lol ask around because I don't know how well the mechanical calipers work

The mechanical disc would be fine. I have the drum, it can lock up my 15" tires, and it works ok, disc will be better though.

those airheart mec calipers will do the job fine.
