Exactly what the video bighead put up. Around here you can shoot carp and alligator gar because they're and invasive species. It's kinda fun

Please don't shoot alligator gar. They are indangered to the extreme. I find it hard to believe they are invasive. In their natural range they were thought to be eating largemouth bass (sport fishermen hated this) and attacking humans. Both are false. Alligator gar hardly ever eat largemouth bass because the bass are too quick and are really shy and never approach humans. Someone came up with a machine that would zap the water with a huge voltage and kill all the gar. After nearly all the alligator gar were killed, a scientist took seven of them, cut them open and discovered the truth about their diet. I ask again; please don't shoot them, humans have killed off enough species as it is. Are you sure they are alligaror gar and not longnose gar?

I love fishing! In August, I'm doing a fly-in, waaay up north. I have a bow too, but haven't shot anything aside from a target. IIRC, the only thing we can bow-fish for is carp. Since I have ZERO interest in carp, I ain't doin' it.

On the other hand, I was at Bass Pro recently. I just got a new Daiwa rod, and two new Shimano reels. I'm good to go for the year! In my sights: Large- and Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, and Muskie...

A nice Smallie from last year-

I love to bow fish up here at 10,000 ft elevation you would think there are no carp but there are plenty in some of my local lakes I love to fish in general but on a hot calm day when the fish aren't biting I just wip out my bow fishing rig and have a blast shoot'n carp :2guns:

Fishing is my favorite hobby too. Going in a halibut derby this weekend. Oh yea I live on the coast! Now you guys are all jealous haha! Salmon should be in soon as well! Have fun with your .5lb sunfish and bass! Haha joking. Bass are one of my favorites and sunfish are always a classic. Still, 200lb+ halibut...

Ive spear fished a few times, its quite hard. I got a rainbow trout and a bass, its fun but a bit frustrating if your not real into the sport.

does anyone know a good shock leader knot?i keep on throwing my weights and rigs becasue my knots are coming undone.it really pisses me off when im surf fishin and there is no possible way for me to go retrive my rig.

i have a 14lb tag line and a 50lb leader.my setup is a daiwa 802 mrs matching rod a reel with a mustad pompano rig fitted with 2 circle hooks on the bottom with a kayley hook on the top.and i normaly use a 3 0z weight witch is the max rated weight for that rod.
