bought this Tony Kart for $50 from some girl who was getting thrown out of her house and had to get rid of it (it was her "******* boyfriend's") :D

Edit: I have no clue how to start it :s it's a Yamaha kt100 engine

everything on it seems pretty mint (the front tires might be cracked)
engine turns over fine and is not seized.

I haven't started it yet because its in a relatives garage and i haven't picked it up yet.

does anyone know what model the chassis is and what engine that is?

engine says "yellow fin" on it.**

how much do you think it is worth (don't know much about karts).
I'd assume over $1000?

haha i know, best score ever! You just gotta check kijiji for stuff like that. you'll be surprised how many pocket bikes, go karts, mini choppers are being sold for ridiculously low prices. What would you guess for the displacement of the engine?

engine says "yellow fin" my uncle said its a company that tunes engines?

Nice score

Your Tonykart has the old style (angled) front nerfbar mounts, so its a 2001 or older model.

You could call this shop with your serial numbers and ask what year/model it is:
TONY KART FLORIDA LLC. Phone: (561) 575 6666. Fax-(561) 743 6727

I'd say its worth somewhere in the $500-$1000 range, and I agree its got a Yamaha KT100 engine.

Wow! I can hardly find a decent racing frame for under $400! You definitely got pretty lucky.

Amazing score! What do you plan to do with it?
I would check your local track and see if they have a class that would allow that kart/ engine setup.

Does anyone know how to start a Yamaha kt100 engine? I tried a impact gun with 1/2 Allen key to the crank and it didn't have enough torque to turn over. Also the two back tires have holes in them but I should be able to Get a set on Kijiji so that's fine.

That won't work because of the clutch. The only way to start it is with a 1/2 Allen key port on the crank just outside the clutch

what do you mean it wont work? put it in first gear and pull the rope and it should work!
or is it a torque clutch and not a manual kart?
