So I got this on the way back from the border this morning and for a freebie... I think I scored. Apparently it's a Manco Scorpion and from what I can see... it's no different from the Magnum whatsoever. The engine was one that was sitting on the shelf so I though what the ****. I ordered this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012MEEQ1K?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00 for it and hopefully it'll do what I wanna do.

Also I got something else that I though would be cool to hang on the wall. '72 Suzuki GT550

Question: Do they make axle sprockets for these like a 42T on #40/41 chain for a 7/8" hex axle? (I hate the 70t that's on it.)

40/41 I've seen 45T... can't speak for 520 though...

That or fire up the shop and make something. Though I can tell already this thing is gonna SUCK on roads. Looks the machine shop is gonna open it's doors this weekend. But a list of any and all mods, upgrades, and common issues with this thing would be nice.

Add caster n lower it some... could/should do fine... atleast to 40ish... anything beyond that and Id slam it to the ground and stiffen the suspension (but I like pavement vs dirt/gravel/mud... ground clearance is just an annoyance to me/my builds)... hehe!

Great score..!
Honestly I don't really see that go kart being able to move well with a 42t axle sprocket even with the torque converter. Well not with a 6.5hp anyways.

Well.. ihave about 30 blocks to choose from. Anywhere from 4hp golf cart motors to a 34hp trials bike motor complete with engine mount plate to fit on a go kart. Though I might end up going with a Tecumseh 13hp liquid cooled engine that came off something for a boat...

Holy (censored) (censored) (censored) (censored) crap

I was just clocked doing 55mph on this thing... WITH NO BRAKES!

Plus the steering at around 30mph-ish feels like it's driving on a high wire.

Would not recommended that.
