:auto: I have recentley brought an manco dingo off road buggy with the briggs and stratton 5hp fun power engine, it has a very good strong spark from the pull start, but I cannot get it started, I think the diaphram may be blocked but I am not sure. I got it started by dropping a splash of fuel into the carb. Does anyone have any idea what to do?

I agree with fowler. The diaphram can also not get blocked, because there are no passages to get blocked. You might just have to replace it if it looks too work. They are really cheap

I think we just got hit by a spammer or a troll...
If not my apologies...
FYI, clean and rebuild your carb, replace the diaphragm if it needs it, then try again.

I dunno. The "Head Engineer" of a "Racing Team", asking questions regarding a blocked carb diaphragm? Sure don't seem legit to me. "Head" engineer implies multiple engineers on staff, and yet nobody can figure out a basic carb issue?

Honesty, I think it's a coupla kids putting on airs, which is fine- better not be a drive by. I guess we'll see. In the meantime, I wouldn't be supporting the site.

Seems like a posed question post so they could post a link back to their site for a back link SEO's and backlink builders do that stuff all the time.

I've done it too Google almost forces you to to get better ranking with their oddball system they use, it weighs heavy on backlinks especially from well established high traffic sites.
