blew a tire

Was riding my cart and was about a mile out just testing some adjustments I had made and I turned around in a street and a rock or something popped my right front tire as I slowly rolled over it. So I limped it home.

I went to harbor freight and was able to use the tires from a wheel I found there for 5 bucks with my cart hubs, score.
It looks like I have a doughnut on there. The cart is a Tyrod IV which is very hard to find parts for.

That would depend if he would just be driving straight ahead or having to turn
But the old one looked pretty worn out

I gave him extended time because he only used the tires. If he used the HF wheels the bearings would go in about 3 minutes. There's a reason they are cheap....as in "Ya gets what ya paid for!".

I really love it when you buy something NEW with wheels (like those cheap pocket bikes), and the wheel bearings feel like they have gravel in them when new...
Maybe they will get better after some use

They aren't that bad you know its really easy to mess up a bearing (especially in HF case wherer the wheels are meant to go on wheel barrows) but its really hard to make a tire that doesn't......tire.

Luckily I was able to get the old tires rim into the new tire perfect fit I do not predict any catastrophic failure other than the inner tubes popping.
They are indeed just 5 dollar tires but they are nice and slick just what I was looking for. I'm sure that these tires will not last very long as they are nylon but these are the front tires; you only really need them to steer hahaha. Also if you haven't caught on I used the original rims with the new tire so it has a pretty good bearing setup I think they have some nachi bearings in there.

I took the cart out sliding last night and they worked fine but were definitely more slippery than the old tires so you have to shift the carts weight more gently when you slide on these tires because they want to slide a lot.

I ,forgive the term, whipped ****tys on plain asphalt for 3 hours and they are still okay (they aren't okay when I can see the tube).

I was mostly afraid of the tires coming off the rim even though they fit perfect and I had no problems there. 5 dollar throwaway tires locally isn't such a bad thing. quick spares when you are in a fix.

But Yes a better set of tires would do a better job of being long lasting because these are getting worn down.
