Hello gokart enthusiasts! I’m new here and would like to say hi to all! I’ve been riding electric scooters for a while and it’s been fun. I recently came across a Blade Z 33cc gokart and it is so much more exciting to ride! Especially when it starts to drift!
I do have a couple of questions regarding the engine. I’m wondering which thread to post it on?

thanks!

1. Engine has a hard time starting when it hasn’t ran for a day. Takes around 20 pulls to get running. I’m thinking of using Sta-Bil Starting Fluid sprayed directly into the carburetor to get it started.

2. I’ve also noticed that in about 3 minutes of running, the motor would lose power. But when I open the gas cap and screw it back on, power is restored. Is this some type of vacuum or air pressure issue in the gas tank?IMG_6163.jpegIMG_6164.jpeg

My thoughts on the vent on the gas cap… It actually makes that this is some sort of air pressure issue. So the gas tank needs a vent right? Just like a water jug, if there’s no hole then eventually water would stop pouring out?

Actually looks like an elongated skate board, with a weed wacker for power. Are you a normal sized person. Just asking, as I don't think I have ever seen a kart quite that small. Very unique.
