New to the forum, working on my sons BK200. Doesn’t want to stay running, if you give it gas it usually stays running, this is recently. When I bought it 2nd hand the previous owner cut the muffler off and just had it straight piped, I bought a replacement muffler and had it welded on but eventually it blew after a year or so of use. Since it wasn’t staying running o thought it may have something to do with the blown muffler. Received the new muffler and thought I bought the right one but it was missing a pickup for I’m guessing a vacuum line. Is that line needed? I am planning on replacing the spark plug and cleaning the carburetor since it seems like a fuel issue. Picture below of the old exhaust with pick up. Also pictured is what it runs to, I have no idea what this part is called.
