Ok so I have managed to get some wheels from Gemini karts in the uk but have a problem with spindles.
The old bearing ID was 5/8 the new ones are 25mm is the some some of spacer insert I can get to kind of sleeve the spindle on stub axle from 5/8 to 25mm
The kart in question is a manco dingo.
This is all I need to do now to get it running pretty apart from wiring up the throttle and connecting brake and throttle springs

Because that's all I could get, not only that the sizes where not listed on website and I drove a 200 mile round trip so I took them anyway as I know there will be a way of sorting it.

Sorry.. but a spacer would be a baaaad idea!
the spacer could not be fixed to the spindle...
basically it could turn and slowly eat away the spindle...

so you need bearings that fit the metric OD and the imperial ID...
there are such bearings for some sizes that I know of..
but a 52mm OD bearing with a ID as small as 5/8 ??? never seen that before *shrugs*

Where are you from? Fill out your location.... I might help in the future, in getting reasonable help.
I think your better off welding on new spindles......

Can you just order the correct bearings? Ive done both the fronts on my Dingo.. I honestly dont know the availability in Hook,UK... but i went and bought them at a parts store for $4.00 each.. maybe a Tractor place or a hardware store in your area.. Or order them online....

Think it's more of a case of imperial to metric that is the problem, plenty of bearing suppliers here.
Seems like the US are behind the times havn't managed to go metric yet.
I would of kept the original wheels but one of them is different it is like the back wheel bolts instead of fixed bearing, so in lose lose situation.
Just thought I would throw it out on here I case another UK member had had the same dilemma.
Instead got the usual Yankee sarcasm which doesn't surprise me.

I very seldom disagree with 'sid.....but I think I will on this one. ....

I don't see why you couldn't use bushings. ..if.....you can find some that will work. ....again. ..you have the same problem. ...metric to Imperial. ...

So you will probably have to find some that fit the bearing and are too small for the spindle and drill to fit the spindle. ...

As far as fixing them to the spindle. ...you can drill a hole in the side of the bushing and tack weld in the hole......you could also look for a way to bush the wheels....but...they have to be perfect. ....

But. ....yeah. ...y'all really are behind the times there.....we have this gadget here called a telephone. ...I always use it instead of driving 100 miles when in doubt. .......

H€££ no.... You got new tires, they deserve new wheels..... Just make new spindles, old chum! Cut off the old one, weld on the proper size bolt, and you're done!

no sarcasm intended in my posts.. yankee or otherwise..

Just trying to help.. glad you didn't take any of this to heart.. everyone on here is very helpful..

If you have the skills to cut and weld on a new spindle id say rock it! as long as it fits and gets you rolling and is safe :)
