Well tuned sure. This guy is just having fun. I think Honda rated them at 45mph though. Honda detuned them by the clutch shifting. Put a comet driven with a powerbloc drive along with a DG pipe. Much faster. Remember you cannot make an FL250 go faster than 50. You can just make them quicker to 50. You need to junk the reduction unit to go faster. No need for no rear suspension. 50 is fast enough for this set up.

Wanna bet on that? I got a complete stocker that will do 46 right now before any tuning. Tires may be a little bigger though. So who knows. I can put some stock ones on if you want to bet.

Perhaps. I know I do not want to be going 40mph on bumpy trails. I got my stocker in the pic up to 46 on gravel road. The average joe blows fl250 would do about 38 to 40 though. Good clutches and much more power. The engines rev better and come to life.

When these were made it was right in the midle of the three wheel crises over people getting hurt. Honda detuned this pretty good. But from day one riders have been moding them.
