It has an bridge and stratton engine

I am looking for documentations for this type of go kart

Maybe someone can help me?

Hi Joeri, and welcome to DIYGK.

I assume you're talking about the Carter Brothers Bigfoot kart, right?
In that case I think it's been a Model 1875 (maybe 1805 / 1815 / 1825)

care to post a pic? (chassis is more important than body)

Anyways, I'll attach both partslists.

And that's about all the Info there is left,
Carter bros went out of business a long time ago, and there are no spare parts available any longer
(nearly no spare parts that is)

Some parts are generic, and can be found online
like brakes, engine parts, TC parts etc.

Tell us what needs replacement, and we might be able to tell you what online shop you should ask.
And before you ask:
No, there are no european shops that have fun kart parts really... so you will need to shop overseas!

So be prepared for shipping fees, import taxes and such.

Just do the image tags -->
wrapped around the photo url.
Or upload them from your..."device".

good enough :D
(attaching them to this thread is a much better idea especially with that many pics)

Anyways, 1805 ...
partslist as attached earlier.

Looks mainly complete...
The one thing I do not see is the torque converter..
But you can buy just any Series30 TAVKit off ebay (12T #35 chain) off ebay if you don't have it in a box,
it has a different backplate than the one that came with the kart, but a beefier one,
so no adverse effect to expect here ;)
that'd be a chinese clone alright, but they work well (very few complaints)

if you have it, then all you'll need is elbow grease, and maybe some maintenance parts
(belt, chain, liquids etc.)

Nice. What is it, NOS (New, Old Stock) that someone had lying around untouched for centuries?

Not sure that this is a restoration but it is definitely more of an assembly.

I have bought it of a guy how has it laying around for many years.. I think I have everything complete I think.

I dont have the plate on top of the car it sits just below the rolbar?

Yes I have the torque converter also!

What do you mean with its a Chinese clone? The car or?

Can you tell me the colours of this car and the decals? Or is it just white?

Many questions I know sorry anyway thanks for helping me!!

Thanx joeri

What I meant was,
that the Torque converters on ebay are mostly chinese clones, not original Comet TAV kits.

No worries, you have yours. and if you need a replacement belt or any other part for it, you'll have no problems replacing it. (all parts are still available on the internet)

Now, make sure you read the Torque Converter Maintenance thread (or watch a video about it on yt!) you do not want to ruin a belt by having it greased or something ;)

Be sure to install the sprockets correctly, you have 6 different sprockets for 3 different chain sizes, and two of which are close enough to mess it up.
So check the partslist to know what sprocket needs to go where.
;)

Colours.. Decals..
Many different ones!

IIRC there was BigFoot
blue truck, BIGFOOT decals that changed the design whenever Bigfoot did.

The white truck as you have. (also came as black truck)
Same truck with IIRC one of the Bigfoot designs just "Mini Monster" Lettering
And an iteration to the decals (black truck only)
with "more modern" decals

and some other different bodies (grave digger [a van] and a jeep)
none ever had a roof, all "cabrios" basically ;)

Decals are no longer available you need to paint/print your own if you want them.
