Ok here we go. I decided to get me a project and a new ride for my grandson. I ended up getting a Streaker D690 for excellent deal. Only problem is that driver side wheel broke off. Lol
I did some research here on the site and found that I can go to a straight axle? I think. My questions are is there manual that can tell me what I need to make this happen. I have access to a machine shop and I can make all these parts that I might need.
Here are some pictures of Nasty just to show you what I’m up against. Well I figured I start with the obvious which would be the driveshaft first.

that'd be a simple off the shelf axle you're having..
just pull it out
remove wheels,
undo sprocket and brake disk hubs;
loosen the bearings (there will likely be a grub screw on the bearing inner race collars)
and if present undo all retainers the same way..
once confident all parts are sliding along the axle,
give it a good clean and maybe a whiff of lubricant close to all appliances
then pull it out.
once out, measure the length (incl the broken off part) and diameter
and I'm fairl certain you can order a replacement off an azusa shelf.
