A live axle IS a posi because both tires will always turn the same speed. A posi unit allows both rear tires to spin when you mash on the "go button".....
A limited slip will let the axles lock, to get both tires spinning. But in a turn, one axle will break the lock and slow down or speed up, depending on the turn being made..... IIRC

Should i get spindles that are snug? Whats best sizing?

Also i want wide tires; deep dish wheels so what axle length should i be running? Im thinking wheels to be flush with outter frame too?

You'll have to work backwards on that one; sort the wheels, position them on the frame & measure the distance between the hubs...

Could i just rear the offset of the wheel and then convert and judge the distance? I want to buy everything else and get it going and wait for a good deal on the wheels i want. Dont have 300 on wheels and tires to drop. 100 could get me a majority of the steering and drive train

You can try but, without knowing the offset, it's a bit difficult to judge...

Absolute worst case scenario, just work with a tube for now until you can get the wheels & sort the axle later...

Are you finding most are too big or too small for your frame?

The simple solution is to make your own but, that involves some pretty fancy fab work...

I think they're all too big? They're all 2.5 - 2.75". I read the gap between my bracket for the spindle to sit and measured 1-15/16". So I either find spindles on sites that are to big or don't say... :\

I'm wanting to go 3/4" spindle though it seems bigger the better?

Also king pin doesn't matter so much as if I have to bore it bigger I will.

This kit has a 1 3/4" high barrel; once you insert bearings & a washer or two, it should be pretty close to 1 15/16" (Note: This is just one example...)

I suggest you stick with 5/8" spindles; 5/8" bearings & wheels are much easier to come by than 3/4" &, therefore, much cheaper...

If you still don't have your chassis, Azusa makes a good frame: part # 3502. It's not a street rail chassis, but it is a good frame if you don't want to do any welding and your on a budget.

In future, you may want to at least glance through the entire thread before commenting, we're currently discussing where to get spindles for his frame...

@fabroman, i talked to my buddy and hed be willing to weld up the bracket for me. Is arc welding stronger then tig? Debating which to have done. Also it just has to be at a 90 with the arm or is it different for every kart?

IMO, for this application, if it's available, TIG would be better... for many reasons...

This is where I point you to this thread & say "read carefully"...

To answer your question, every kart is different & no kart should have arms @90°...
