well i got this ideal in my head to build a trike with an electric motor

after about 3 hours on google/this side

it seams to me that every one building one of these is a small guy

well im 6'4 330

so im a really really big guy

so before killing myself to plan out a build and the task

of going threw all the math in that sticky

are there even any options for a guy my size going electric on something like this

im a big on computers so the ideal of going electric vs gas just apeals more to me for a project

Since electric drivetrains with more than fractional horsepower are still novel, I don't think there is any place to buy them retail. You could build your trike with a gas motor, and swap it out for electric when they become readily available. Last Friday I purchased a new Predator 212cc motor (6.5 hp) from Harbor Freight for $99. I have no idea how they sell them for that price - all the reviews on the motor rave about how durable it is.
