Best suggestion on how to fix this yerf mutt

My first post but I have been a lurker for a couple of years. When I bought the cart the right wheel was a little bent and someone had attempted to do a little welding. It drove decently, but in the last year or so its progressively gotten worse and its getting to the point where it is creating a driveability issue. What would be someone who has more "creative" experience than I do suggestion in fixing this "permanently" See attached pictures for suggestions.


Also in following this cart in my own, it looked like the drivers side rear wheel was a little wobbly. Stock live axle, which I read is horrible, just wondering if it could be a little bent.

I'm not sure what's wrong with the left front, other than some old dirty welds? Is something cracked or broken?

Rear axles aren't bad on base yerf dogs, it's the spider box models that had stepped axles that fail. If yours is bent it should be fixable no problem. Put it up on blocks so the wheels can spin and make sure it's the axle and not the hub or wheel.

Well thats just it. Apparently it WAS broken at one time and was attempted to be welded back together. That happened before I became the owner of it. I cant give you a paticular history on it other than what is currently happening -- it doesnt seem to steer properly and the tire hits the side of the cart.

About the back ... I will check that out when I get home. Thats a new problem that developed when the kid was riding it.

doesn't appear to be any ackerman geometry to the steering. look it up. it's quite easy to fix with a welder and a little shop know-how. it'll improve your steering a LOT.

I have the exact same kart. Cut the spindles off and start new with REAL spindles. Then while you're welding on new spindle mounting arms, also weld in some bracing for that rear engine mount. It has some weaknesses. Trust me, flip your kart over and behold the cracks along the bar that runs between the seat and the engine.
