Best place to find an engine

I'm looking to build a piranha buggy and have been surfing the web all day looking for a wrecked donor bike with little luck. I'm wanting a Suzuki GSXR 1000 engine and what I'm finding is just to expensive for my taste. I see where people on here have built this kart is there a good website for finding these engines?

If that don't work, wrecking yards have auctions regularly. And ebay..... And cities have auctions too, of consficated autos and what not. Just gotta keep your eyes peeled.....

Edge recommends a few other power plants. Might help to expand your search and include the others.

Mississippi and I am willing to work with other manufacturers but am set on 1000 cc's and I have been everywhere looking as of now I was just hoping you guys had some secret site no one knew of lol
I just prefer Suzuki engines always loved the power they make.

Unless you plan on spending a minimum of 1500 for one you should consider something else.
