Did you bother to read your own post? Right there in the text it states that the kart is equipped with a 30 series torque converter. Also known as a cvt. That is exactly what you need. Especially for use in sand or hills. It works like an automatic transmission, low gear ratio for hills and sand, higher gear ratio for cruising on level ground. The ones you find on Amazon for about $75 work fine. They're all made in China, so don't worry too much about one brand over the other.

Buy one on Scamazon or anywhere you want but I bet fleabay still has the best prices.

Well technically the 30 CVT Torq-A-Verter IS a clutch. It has a clutch in it and then variable diameter pulley sheaves that create different gear ratios based on centrifugal forces, similar to a centrifugal clutch. Blah blah blah.

Manco 906 EZ Rider go kart. Could be any of these manuals but it will show you what other parts may be missing and what should be there....

How about pics of YOUR go kart? A perfect pic would be right where the engine goes and where the rear axle is.
