don't just take my word for try it some time for yourself and you will see!
You see what air filter is on my rare wankel engines not to be a know it all but I have seen it many times I would not use a K&N on my lawnmower you ought to see the faces of the people that think that their K&N is doing such a good job even on the street when they see what has passed through their filters and what they can see is just what you can wipe out of the intake their engines have ate alot more that they will ever know and the engines life has been shortened don't just take my word for try it some time for yourself and you will see!
Your statement is very true. Everyone thinks that an expensive filter is the berries. Most of the new karters that come out to the track, started with K&N's, but switched to UNI's after it was proven to them the amount of dirt or pavement grit that was ingested thru the K&N.

Which is great if you're trying to keep flies out!
t filters at an auto parts store recently. They were clearly being marketed to drips with lowered Hondas sporting fart cans and obnoxios stereos. Even at a glance I could tell that they were marginally better than chicken wire for filtration.Desertduler- I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and experiences with us on this topic. It really does make you think twice about what your engine might be inhaling. I saw some cheapst filters at an auto parts store recently. They were clearly being marketed to drips with lowered Hondas sporting fart cans and obnoxios stereos. Even at a glance I could tell that they were marginally better than chicken wire for filtration.
Their are alot of jaw flappin bs in this world along with people that follow one another like sheep if we can help one another to sort this stuff out I am all for it and I most certainly do not claim to know it all by any means but by our own paths in life we can share some of our knowledge with each other and become smarter how's that?
That's dead-on. If I had a nickel for every time I have had to address that stupid governor/flywheel myth, I'd be a very rich man!
There is common sense and then there is nonsense!
gonna use this as a quote if you dont mind
