Would bent spindles cause the go kart to lift a wheel off the ground when Turing and hard to to steer?

What kind of go kart do you have?
Sounds like you have a racekart. If your unsure, pics would help us confirm this.

Most all racekarts will lift a front tire off the ground when turning, but only if your not sitting in the seat. Those symptoms are totally normal and to be expected.

And then while sitting in the seat, It's also totally normal for racekarts to require way more steering effort than most any funkarts or yardkart.

The reason for both of these phenomenons is racekarts transfer lots of the (driver and karts) weight from the Inside-rear tire to the outside front tire when turning. That's the main reason why live-axle racekarts have so much better turning ability's than most live-axle funkarts & yardkarts.

OK. It is hard to tell if a spindle is slightly bent from photos, but what I would also check (if you can) is if the kart itself is not twisted and only really manifests itself when you turn one way. Try and get down to eye level and see if you can see any twist

I am sure you could get replacement spindles for not so much and just test out the theory that these ones are bent
