Oh, also, get some molly.. its a lubricant. its thick stuff, normally found, on/around things like bearings. if you do any off-roading or just dirt streets. Its good to have in a little kit/bag that you can attach to your go kart. Its also good for keeping areas of the axle lubed, like where sprocket hub attaches, keeps it from rusting..
Some WD-40 if you already don't got some. good for cleaning carburetors!
Some non-fling chain lube. I like to use DuPont's stuff, works well, and any Fe2O3 that shows up on the chain, is pulled to the surface, and that's when you know its time for a cleaning/re-lube.
