New to this forum. I have been wanting to build a go-kart with my 2 sons. Im thinking of purchasing a kit (like AZUSA kit). Im just not sure the best kit to purchase/best route to go. Id like the cart big enough also for a adult to drive. Im looking for a kit that includes everything but clutch and engine. Any suggestion/help would be appreciated. Thanks

Welcome! That Azusa kit is tiny, you wont fit unless you are too.... How old are your sons(how big)? You can go several routes. Search craigslist for a cheap project kart. Buy all the main components of a kart and some steel and get to cutting, welding, and building. Or buy the Azusa kit for them and build/buy a big 2 seat kart for y'all to enjoy together.... What kinda fab skills do you have? Whats your expected budget? There are a lot of variables that are needed to truly answer your question.
Glad your building with your sons. They will grow up to do the same. To them, they are just making a cool kart. To you, you're making memories. When they understand that, they will pass it on. Fatherhood, its the greatest........

Welding would be the problem. What about the ViperStx kit offered by www. Mxk.com . Seems larger. Any thoughts?
